February 1985 - Meeting postponed due to ice and snow.
|
March 4, 1985 - First meeting held in new fire station with 77 in attendance. Allen Sides, Treasurer stated $33,500 has been donated to department not including the money Mr. Lunceford gave for station. All meeting are being held at the new fire station Fire officers were elected as follows Fire Chief Charles Meyer, Assistant Chief Tim Meredith, Captain Burl Martin, Lieutenant Harvey Lanier, Chaplain Odis Munns and Fire Marshall Glynn Adams.

April 1985 - Odis Munns and Ron Beaver attended Fire Academy at Texas A & M. Motion to check on land donation owned by Mrs. Louise Mc Williams for a station in Martins Mill.
|
July 1985 - Mr. Lunceford donated $2000 for concrete drive in front of fire station.
|
September 1985 - Auction will be held for contents of Perry Hill blacksmith shop donated by Mrs. Mc Williams. Auction and Bar-b-q raised $1,747.
